PCGS VAM populations

Does PCGS have a population report of the VAM's they attribute?

I can't seem to find it.

I believe there is a way to expand the listings in Coin Facts, which will show VAM pops. You can also look at any Registry set that includes the particular VAM, and as long as the set is not obscured for privacy, it will show same grade and higher census.

Bear in mind that the latter method suggested is extremely inaccurate. Example: the current #3 (Sonoma) 8TF VAM circulation strike set shows a AU-58 VAM 14.16 with 0 higher. Since I own two attributed Unc. examples, you can throw that PCGS reported info out the window.

14.16 shows 2 in PL, and 2 more in DMPL

Good point Wolf359. I neglected to consider that my 2 examples are the PL's. Sonoma apparently didn't get a PL on the AU-58. That is no surprise!.

BTW - your links won't work for non-subscribers, unless you keep yourself logged in as a subscriber. That won't go over too well with our host though.

Excellent! My 14.1 is a pop 1. Of course, it's an AU53, but it's actually a VAM 14.1 and not a VAM 14.1A.
