Modern Full Step Nickels & Full Step Designation
What I mean by modern is 1992 and up.
Do you think the TPG's should even continue
FS in the grade as the mint's process is much
more efficiant and most nickels are all full steps
anyways after this period?

<< <i>To hard to stop now. Some coins don't get the FS designation even with all the FS's out there.
Agreed. There will always be issues with strike quality on nickels regardless of the US Mints attempt to alleviate it since its a basic design issue revolving around metal flow at the time the coin is being struck.

Leo
