The seller - in all caps - says it's not.
But, I wonder. It just doesn't look right to me, but I don't know diddly - or Bo for that matter.

Color looks odd. Maybe it was dipped. I can't see any cleaning scratches in the pic but that dosen't mean they are not there.

odd is for sure, at first I thought it was a CN. Maybe a rare CN 1865 IHC

Dipped long ago and has since turned this odd shade as a result. You can see some of the original skin of the coin around the shield and in the nook & cranies of the denomination on the reverse, the toughest places to get at.

the part of the description i have trouble with is
A very nice higher grade coin
since i see it as a F-VF with some serious marks on the obverse.
