Old PCGS Sample Slab Value? 1921 Morgan Dollar "Circulated"

I picked this up on eBay recently...Sampleslab.com says that's it's relatively rare....anyone know if it's worth anything? Oh, and it's a VAM-2B.

That's an awful lot for PCGS to just hand out as a sample slab, isn't it?

Or were these obtained some other way?

The prices have risen on these a bit in the last two years.

Also the D (as well as the S to a lesser extent) mint mark is definitely rarer than the Philly 1921.

Also the 1921-S is noted on the same generation sample slabs by PCGS for the S mint marked ones that they caught.

Thanks...I think I sold this, but I'm not quite sure....I kind of hope I didn't, it's pretty cool!

    Herb:

    You have:

<< <i>I have six varieties of the 1921 pcgs sample, the inserts read-

    1921 $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7296.00/12345678 (P mint coin)

    1921-D $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7298.00/12345678 (D mint coin)
    1921-S $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7300.00/12345678 (S mint coin)
1921 $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7296.00/12345678 no S on blue insert (S mint coin) >>

    You still need the following:

    1921-D $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7298.00/12345678 (P mint coin)
    1921-D $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7300.00/12345678 (S mint coin)
    1921-S $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7300.00/12345678 (P mint coin)
    1921-S $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7300.00/12345678 (D mint coin)
1921 $1 CIRCULATED MORGAN SAMPLE 7296.00/12345678 no S on blue insert (D mint coin)

Interestingly, I had these while wingsrule did not.
