Who says you cant get upgrades on NGC to PCGS Crossovers?

Maybe they really do cover up the grades when they look at the coins...image

Regardless, I am pleased with these two. Both upgraded by one grade! image

The potential downside or risk to the TPG is negligible with mid-grade (F-VF) circulated coinage. Giving crosses or upgrades here doesn't quite have the suspense if a hairine
or scuff is missed on a MS/PF65-68 coin. This is where you don't typically get crosses, let alone upgrades esp. on coins in the >$1,000 range. One cannot mix the two.

I would imagine getting upgrades at NGC is probably easier than the other way around.

    Good job on your upgrades!

Very true Roadrunner. Still fun to see an upgrade image

And for what its worth, both NGC CAC coins I sent in crossed. I did have 3 bag though. So 4 out of 7 with 2 of those being upgrades.

Excellent color on that bust quarter. Is it a B2?

    True. image

This was a regular submission, and the results posted earlier than I expected. But like I said, I also had 3 not cross.

I would say your Bust Quarter is VERY strong for the grade. Ive seen many, in fact, I have many PCGS coins in this grade range that are not nearly as strong as yours.
