I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    I never was much of a fan of the Liberty 5c.

    Wow! I was into Liberty 5C years many years ago - they seemed a good value. Even waded into Proofs for a while. With biz strikes I liked the original creamy champagne-looking coins. Although a fairly common look, with the right silver/pewter luster on a clean coin I liked them a lot! There seemed to be many dead coins too - streaky parallel light brown stains (esp reverses), over-dipped perhaps and also many were not that lustrous to start it seemed.
