Can I simply increase my bid on Heritage?

Can I enter a new higher bid without bidding against myself on Heritage? I realize this is probably a stupid question but it's not exactly clear. And I still think that with Teletrade you can bid against yourself... something I'd rather not do.

And you won't "bid against youself" other than if your original bid was "not a full bid increment" in which case you would trigger to the "full bid increment" instead of the partial.

In other words if your bid was $101 and the under bidder was $100 you would win it for $101.

However, if you increased your bid to $110 and the under bidder was $100 you would then pay $110.

Other than that, increasing your bid will not force you to pay more.

In other words if your bid was $1,000 and the under bidder was $100 then you would still only pay $110.
