As far as 'gifting' payment, I believe I was the one who brought it up first. I was merely stating that if he used 'gifting', he could have a battle on his hands, as you give up all your buyers rights. I mentioned it before I saw he used a CC, but there has still been no mention by the OP if he did, in fact, use 'gifting' or not.

I wasn't trying to 'etch it in stone' that he DID use 'gifting'...quite the opposite...so, I have 2 things to say....

I apologize if my 'hope it wasn't 'gifted' comment was taken as gospel....the OP has yet to make that clear...and secondly...

Did you, the OP, use 'gifting', or was it a straight payment? I'm not 100% sure if it's a clean slam dunk for a refund, but I've never been in this position, thankfully.
    I'll come up with something.

Was paid through "goods" drawing partially from my balance and the rest from my bank account.

Yep. If one opts to pay for goods, then one can't use the gift option.

Yep, you'll be covered....don't wait on it....begin the process immediately, if it hasn't already been started.

One thing about PP that really pisses me off is that they seem to try harder and harder to steer you away from using credit cards. Pretty soon the the change payment button will be a little black dot hidden somewhere in a picture of a pile of ground up black pepper.
