PCGS Slabbed fake coin on market.

Someone sent me this link. I think PCGS really should put their slabbed coin pictures online to people to check like NGC does.

The cert number checks out although I'll be the first to confess I know nothing about this Chinese coin. What are you seeing that makes you feel it's a fake so we can all understand?

Before you buy any PCGS slabbed coin I would advise you to check this site.
Just put the slab number into the search box. This coin comes up as a fake.

I see that the dentils are poorly made and that's the first clue. From China is
    the second clue. 1 + 1 + 2. Yep, fake.

There are quite a few coins there. It's good to be educated.

The problem is that some people might buy them from China and resell them here without telling the coins are fake coins. Yes, Experience collectors can tell they are fake coins but not new buyers want to get into the coin market.

Counterfieting Chinese coins? Sounds like a ticket for a bullet to the head.

It's easy to get real cert numbers off eBay and other auction sites. They know people are checking their fake slabs so they take the added effort use real cert numbers.

Thanks for posting that, Bob. A tip o' the hat to the Coin Forgery eBay group members who created, and continue to add, to that flickr album.

I guess this is taking the copy coin hole filler scenario to another level. Now you can have "hole" fillers for your PCGS slab collection.

One just has to wonder where the blank slabs are made in the first place when these look this good.

That's very bad news, sounds like they are puting this fake coin business in production line not every coin looks alike.
