NFL Hall of Famer Andy Robustelli passed away today

1971 NFL Hall of Fame Enshrinee Andy Robustelli passed away this morning. Andy played his NFL career for the L.A. Rams and N.Y. Giants. He was among, what many people consider the Greatest class of The Hall after the inaugural 1963 Charter Class. I remember seeing Andy in the parade in 1971, but I never saw him here in Canton after that, and I never had the chance to meet him. He very rarely, if ever, returned to Canton, and I have never found out why. It is always a sad day here in Canton when a Hall of Famer passes away. RIP Andy.

I was lucky enough to see him play. Great signer through the mail, plus you could arrange a field trip to his travel agency to get things signed. He refused to accept a fee for signing which is why he never did shows.
