When it comes to saving digital files, I save them on the computer hard drive and also on 3 different External Hard Drives. I save my files in the tiff or psd format. Both of these formats will EASILY transfer forward to any new format of the future. All of my landscape images are also backed up by 4x5 transparencies. I also have high end jpgs backed up online on my website.
