Cspan-You should be glad you don't go to my school(JMB!!!). I'm a senior this year. But the principal canceled pep rallies for 4 years b/c last year 3 people got knifed, one got a broken ankle, and one boy got a broken jaw, all on Freshman bang day(first pep rally). And that was with around 25 cops standing guard. Hey, I got beat up as a freshman, most guys do, in my school anyway. Just hang out with sophmores and juniors and youll be fine.

I'm glad my school year don't start in the beginning of summer, I start after labor day. But I only go for 5 periods, since I got Marketing II work study. I can't wait til schools over so I can get out of maryland.

So what sports do you play?

my first freshman day last year was alright
I just moved back to where I used to go to school and that was my first day, no one talked to me much, but my good friends, and after 2 weeks or so I became closer friends with many peeps

Good luck on your start of high school;you will do just fine.Be yourself & choose your friends wisely.You'll find other people there that like collecting sports cards.
CJ started jr high last year & he found some guys that collected sports cards plus he plays soccer so he hooked up with some of the other players there also.No one messes with him anyway but having some of the older guys around did help.

good luck, and remember this: people that don't ACT like freshmen (as in without a clue) won't get TREATED like freshmen

Good luck man, freshman year is fun. Lots of new girls and intro to the big party scene.
Make as many friends as you can cause it always pays to know atleast a few ppl from each click.

I just started freshman football yesterday. It was hard but I'll survive. I've found that if you play football, you won't get picked on much because the older players will stick up for you.
