Through Trial and Error I have discovered the Best way of. . .

removing those annoying dealer decals and stickers from the back of PCGS slabs! Seriously, what a pain, up to now. I've tried about everything mostly with limited success. I used WD40 and even a slab sticker remover I bought off of eBay.
Oh, the sticker comes off but usually at the expense of the hologram.
I just today used something I hadn't thought of before and it worked flawlessly. No kidding, just a single drop, let it sit for a few seconds and wipe off with a cotton tee (or, what have you). The fragile hologram remains perfect without any fading.
Obviously start out removing as much of the sticker as possible even taking a piece of scotch tape and sticking over the area to remove any thick sticky residue from the decal. Then when a drop of the Breakfree is applied it completely dissolves the rest without incident. Quick and painless!
I feel as giddy as a schoolgirl right now.

suggestion: edit the title so we can search on it in the future.

Look Ma! I got the sticker off and now my coin looks like a rainbow!

I just Goo Goned some slabs yesterday - seriously, the way some dealers ship stuff out is amazing.
Best stuff in the world and I love the smell
Breakfree, GooGone, and WD40 are all pretty harsh, not something I'd want to use on a slab and then store it in my SDB for long term storage. Why not try something that will not harm a coin? A drop of Mineral Oil and a paper towel will remove all sticker residue in an instant and not dull or hinder a NGC hologram.

He cares about your coins and holders. Not who slabbed them.
