2 part question Proof Trade Dollar & Conservation

IMHO I have always loved a proof Trade dollar, the black white contrast, the design. I have to admit
Trade Dollars& especially one pattern which was "Liberty by The Sea" have always captivated me.
I have never once purchased a trade dollar, be it raw or graded. One thing I noticed at my very first
national show was not being able to see one example that didnt look greay, washed out, almost
lifeless. I have noticed however that the Proofs have the exact look I was looking for, however but alot
I see are hazed over, blocking the true beauty of the piece itself.
MY question, maybe considerd ugly, but what if I wanted to send it thru a service across the street
to remove that haze that blocks its beauty. Is it worthwhile, is it smart? I want the piece for me and me alone,
not for reslae untill my cold dead hands release it-so again, smart? stupid? Can I be opening a can of worms?

it does not have to be that one coin, but you can see the potential of that piece,
that haze gone itd be black n white

is it stupid to even consider? I am aware the haze could be hiding hairlines which
would kill a grade-hey who even knows, NCS may turn down even touching it.

Can they advise before you crack out? BTW, if they do NCS it, won't it end up in a NGC "prongy" holder, or will NCS return the coin raw?
PS. Well, you would have to but the coin first, but looks like it won't even sticker, given that DLC is a CAC dealer.

Don't you think that if the haze COULD be removed that one of the largest shareholders of CLCT stock and one of the largest submittors of US classic coins to PCGS wouldn't know how to do so and it already would have been done?

The crust and original patina just might be what the haze is all about and it can't be removed without ruining the coin.
