Numis Products Coin "Tubes" (square outside, round inside)

MsMorrisineMsMorrisine Posts: 35,867 ✭✭✭✭✭

I bought some of these, but I'm second guessing myself on using them.

The plastic feels "soft" and I wonder if they are safe for long term storage.

Anyone with knowledge and experience care to comment???

Oops, nevermind, just saw the brand. I was going to mention that the coin-safe brand tubes are pretty soft but listed as "archival quality."

The only tubes I use. I store roll sets in them, including 35-58 Abes....never had a problem with spotting, toning, or any other concern. Plus, they are easy to stack, box and count :-)

They're good, they stack and the lids work well.

The only thing I could complain about is some (but not most) have a little bump inside the bottom that might touch the center of the bottom coin. I'm assuming they might have fixed it on the newer ones.
