Who has the best toners at the CSNS CONTEST!

I would love to hear your opinions on who will have the best supply of rainbow toned coins at the CSNS show. My plans for this show have been changed by the powers known as my wife. I only get to go Thursday from 2-7 image . So it would be very helpful if you folks can lead me to your favorite sources for toned coins. If I buy a coin from the dealer you post than your name will go into a drawing. Ill tape the drawing so everybody knows that it is fair. Here is the prize, which is now in a NGC MS64 (No Full bands) Holder image Just got the grade on it and I could have thrown up.

    Beats me?

Whats the deal with sending that nice rattler Merc to ngc? hoping for a higher grade I guess? when you play the game sometimes you will get burnt.

I play the game often. I get burnt and I get lucky, but to be honest it was for my collection but I have since decided I am done with my dimes.

    thanks

I see nothing wrong with that. Your coin your choice! You wanted that star didn't you image. Maybe it lost a point due to weak luster?

I don't have an issue with sending it to NGC, but I am curious why you didn't limit your downside by sending it as a crossover in the holder instead of breaking it out. Do you think they are tougher on crossovers than on raw submissions?

I just figured you sent this one in as a crossover, of course to keep the old holder if the coin didn't cross? But I see now you did crack it out.

  • The coin was busted out a long time ago. Probably like a year ago when I never thought of selling a single coin and enjoyed rolling around on the floor playing with them outside of their holder. Things have since changed but I cannot put it back into the PCGS OGH so I had to send it in raw.
  • Anyways if somebody wants to add some of there favorite dealers that would be appreciated. If you want to continue talking about how I like to collect my coins than I can make another thread for that.

    Yup,

I'll have it there along with about 80 other toners of various types, mostly Morgans but type coins as well.
