A pair of 1791 Washington Cents

I find these coins just uber cool, and recently picked up the small eagle. The large eagle has been an all time favorite!
I would love to find a low grade/beat up example to keep as a pocket piece!

Thanks for looking image

Nice pair. I like pairs. (I also like pears.)

Quick question: Is the CAC logo a stock photo or an actual photograph of a sticker from the slab (or from another slab)?

The sticker is just a stock image. Many times I photograph my coins before taking them to CAC. If it stickers, rather than reshoot it, I just paste an image of the sticker onto the image.

The reason I asked is because I have never seen such a well-balanced photo of the sticker.
  • congrats on the CAC on the large eagle Ankur!

Now there's a weird idea for a photo contest.

Anyone know why they did two eagle designs? The small eagle looks so weak and scrawny. The big eagle looks intimidating and has more arrows image

Two nice Conder tokens! They are catalogued as Middlesex 1049 & 1050. The small eagle token comes with 3 different edges. These were manufactured by John Han***k in his quest to gain a contract to mint coins for the new country.

The small eagle is rated Scarce for 1050 and RRR for 1050a & b while the large eagle is rated as common by Dalton & Hamer
