Buffalo rounds promotion?

Is one of the radio/TV talk show morons, er gurus, pushing silver rounds with Buffaloes on them? One of the dealers on my old dealer-to-dealer network ran this today:
"The IQ level of the silver buyers drop each day...Today the last 2 buyers
would only buy silver rounds that had buffalos on them because that is what
people will recignize in the future. I said how about the .999. No that
can be faked you cant fake a buffalo. "
I asked him if the two customers came in together. He checked the receipts, and said the two customers came from towns about 70 miles apart, and they came in about two hours apart.
What gives?
