.07 Grams Under Weight 1911 5$ Is It Real/Guess Grade?

Just picked this up and I am not sure if I should have, the sellers story of finding it under floor boards in a demo he did was odd to say the least.

Thanks!
There are some strange depressions on the coin, like on the back of the Indian's neck. Looks suspicious to me, interested in hearing other opinions myself.
Does anyone think whether the overall wear on the surfaces corresponds to that on the reeding?
The field surfaces of that coin look cast, like on a poured gold bar.
Fishy! But I'm no expert in this series.
<< <i>I hate when sellers have weird stories, I think this coin is about VF.

That was my concern. I would think that the amount of wear on the reeding does not correspond with the amount of wear on the obv and rev. I wonder if it was used ins some kind of bezel or other jewelry that protected the reeding.
<< <i>Its a fake, 98.99 % sure---------------BigE >>
why is that?
I am more or less sure the gold is real i could do a SP test on it and let you guys know
its not .7 grams its .07 grams keep in mind most scales only go to .X not .xx

<< <i>I see no problem with it. Weight is fine. Verify the diameter and thickness and you're good to go. >>
Done before I paid for it, thanks for the confidence boost guys
but I'm not concerned and think you are okay on it. Reeding is nice and
sharp like it was protected somehow which is weird but I still say okay.

<< <i>I'm no expert, but it doesn't make much sense for someone to counterfeit a relatively common date $5 Indian -- just to shave off .07 gram of gold? Where is the return in that kind of activity?
Why not? If they're going to counterfeit 1958 wheaties then they'll counterfeit common date $5 golds.

Edit: BigE, what do you see?
Lotsa dirt on the obverse and reverse but no dirt in the reeding. Did somebody clean the reeding?
Quite a bit of wear on the headdress and eagles shoulder but not corresponding reeding or edge wear. Very little wear on eagles neck or beak or breast---and way too much on the shoulder.
just thinking outloud.
<< <i>Something's not right with that coin and I can't put my finger on it.

Perhaps it was worn as jewelry in a bezel, which could account for the odd wear pattern.
