NEED HELP EBAY ISSUE!!

I just tried to log on to my ebay account and it says USER ID NOT FOUND!

I sent a request thinking maybe I somehow forgot the password but that was not the problem and I then sent a request to have my user ID sent to my email and after 1 hour still no email anyone have any idea what the heck is going on? I have item #'s of previous auctions I have sold and logged in to my wife's account and did a search for the item numbers and the closed auctions come up but when I click on the sellers name (which would be me) IT SAYS USER ID NOT FOUND!!!

Caps lock on when signing in will do it.

I'm not sure whats going on but yesterday when I tried to sign into e bay I got a message that my password....the same one I have used for over a year is incorrect.Tried a few times eventually I was encouraged to change the password which I did.

You're mrgrinch? I can see your profile on ebay, but get an error when trying to see stuff like your feedback. However, I did notice this:

The eBay system will be undergoing general maintenance from approximately 23:00 PT (11pm) on Thursday, April 14th to 01:00 PT (1am) on Friday, April 15th. During this maintenance period, certain eBay site features may be intermittently unavailable or slow.

Maybe that's the culprit?

Call them up later today and they'll check into it for you. There's an 800# somewhere on their site but you usually have to click several links before you finally arrive at the contact #. Then they give you a "code" to use on the phone call that's only good for about 30 min. (or maybe an hour?).

that's not it my ebay user ID & Password are in all caps I purposely did that but it is saying that my ebay ID does not even exist

Yeah , i tried to sign in and it hung , i pity anyone with auctions ending right now.

I was in the middle of listing an auction and when I got to the confirm page it asked that I re-enter my password I think nothing of it and do so....the page takes forever to load then this is when I find out my ebay "USER ID" IS NOT VALID!

I am glad that is fixed......boy was I building up steam for some unsuspecting ebay rep.....
