My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Some of those cards are truly exceptional! The 72 OPC pop report is going to see a spike in 9s and 10s!

On a side note, the stock on these OPC cards is amazing compared to the Topps counterpart. All of the cards except the gum cards of course, have beautiful surfaces with no blemishes whatsoever. Is that normal for older OPC? The only thing in question as far as the condition of these cards with the exception of the gum cards and a couple of others is the centering.

Take a piece of nylon stocking and rub it across the gum/wax stain.

    Pack #15
    #13 Grzenda - gum card
    #65 Cedeno
    ***Ding, Ding, Ding***
#79 Red Sox Rookies (Fisk, Cooper) - Outstanding card, 8 all the way I think, possibly 8.5. If T/B centering was just a hair better it would be a 9 or have a shot at a 10
    #190 Giusti
    #172 Evans IA
    #160 Messersmith
    #240 Allen
#192 Cubs Team - nice card

but first, put the card in the freezer for 10 minutes. Cardboard backs on 70's though, that stuff embeds there, should expect still (ST). At least in my lame attempts.

    Awesome cards!!

are you checking the packs for stars showing before opening? You might want to save a few if you already pulled that star.

    Thanks for sharing, John
