Panda Book Signing at Sacramento ANA

folderholder · March 11, 2011 9:39AM

Courtesy of Victory Bullion (and MrOrganic) I will do my first ever public book signing of the Gold and Silver Panda Coin Buyer's Guide at the ANA Convention in Sacramento, California on March 18. You can find me at the Victory Bullion Table (#527).

The convention itself takes place at the Sacramento Convention Center, 1400 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

It should be a fun day of spreading the word about Chinese coins. MrOrganic will, as always, have some nice ones to show and sell. I look forward to seeing you there.

Best wishes,
Peter Anthony

MrOrganic always has some nice generic and better gold to look at, plus those huge silver Pandas too.

Fantastic set, congratulations. I'm pretty sure I know where you bought your mirror coins in July 2009.

Xu Hong (hangzhouhuayinshoucangpin) offered 2 each of the fractional denominations on eBay that month, except for the 5 Yuan of which there were more. That is the only time I have ever seen the fractionals selling in public in North America. Every other sale I know of involved communicating with a Chinese dealer in Chinese, so I will take a wild jab and guess that you found your coins on eBay from Xu Hong.

Best wishes,

Well you are almost right. I did get the coins from XU but not thru eBay. I did not see the eBay auctions. I had purchased other coins from him on eBay and had just purchased a 1 oz PCGS mirror coin from Jay so I e-mailed XU and asked if he could get me the fractionals and he did. I have tried to get more from him but he has no more
