Certainly one of the more flavorful 'new' board members around here. Post a coin that you think was minted around the year he was born. I'll start off. image

This seems about right... image

Hey Colonel, do you remember what you paid for 1904 proofs when they were issued?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (if it's in fact your birthday)

My calendar states that Thomas Jefferson was born April 13, 1743.

That's purdy and should be higher than a 64? That would make ColonelJessup the same age as my momma!

Thanks! I think 64 is correct although a few might consider it a 65...on the otherside I bet there are a few that would call it a 63. image

1942 would certainly put him in close age to my Momma! image

Ty all. Not only do I thank you, but everyone else on Medicare thanks you too. image

Not only Tom Jefferson's but Jack Cassidy of Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna fame.

I never bought an 1904 proof set on the day I was born. Grandpa got me started with a set from 100 years earlier. This was not the recently discovered Queen of Taiwan set. image

The CoinLoot will pay for this. I will wait until he qualifies for a driver's license first. image

I'm pretty sure I was up on stage with Jack Casady for a moment before it started raining at Woodstock. I think he told me to watch out for the bad acid floating around. Or maybe that was Hendrix who said that, I can't remember for some odd reason.

Ha! Better bring your Hoveround powerchair with nitrous upgrade this time. Trying to feign exhaustion as you pursued with the walker really got boring last time.
