I Have To Apologize

Over the past few months I have been rather shrill in my response to the 'tone' used in some of the Legend marketing materials, especially those attributed to Laura and those using words such as 'dreck'.
I apologize for the tone of my own responses to this material and the sarcastic nature of some of my postings.
Laura is clearly an extremely skilled, talented and experienced coin dealer. I believe she acts with sincerity and commitment and I share some of her outrage when it comes to issues such as coin doctors and coin doctoring. I believe the hobby is better because she is an active participant in it. True, to my ear at least, the words she uses to convey a message sometimes gets in the way of the underlying message, but that doesn't matter as much as the message itself.

edit to add:
... and I miss her. She taught me a lot when she was here. The PM function was uber excellent back in those days. I have COINFACTS now but it was nice just asking away and getting a response right away. I really miss her participation on the boards, too.

Check out the video on the home page of our host. Don Willis interviews her.
Laura reads these threads so I'm sure she appreciates your apology.
<< <i>Apology accepted.
Was that written in Darth Vader style?

Right on, Joe! (And Frank, too.)

I'm pretty sure she's out fishing this week on a mini vacation - which means if she appreciates it she caught her bonefish, if she didn't catch her bonefish, well she's gonna be cranky!
Last time she went fishing in the keys she got skunked, don't ask me how that's even possible...
Good post in the OP though. She comes off a little rough on the outside, but she has more passion for coins than anyone else I know.
<< <i>So what prompted this post by the OP? >>
I had been thinking about it for some time, but the thing that pushed me over the edge was watching her in the video with Don and the three dollar proof gold collection. Her genuine love of coins came through, and I can really relate to that.
<< <i>Well....lets see the newp you got from Legend
or the Photo of the one she sold for ya!
I like Laura
