Guessing what you bought from the list of items from the first auction is like buying a present for the man that has everything. You have what, about 200 Registry Sets?

Ron: Not even half that many, but just a few "core" collections. And, trust me, still missing a great many coins from most of those sets that I wish I could own! Anyway, give it shot Ron!

P.S. I'll double my prize to a pair of PCGS-MS66 FDI Presidential Dollars (both a Position A and a Position !!

I already did my 2 guesses. I listed an 1864 PR-63 Seated Dollar and an MS-70 West Point Dollar. Thanks for the chance though.

No winner. If we do not have a winner by Wednesday (4/13) at Noon (Eastern Time), I will simply announce what coin I won in the auction and set my prize aside for a future contest Ian might like to run in connection with his new site.

Ok, I will go out on a limb and say: 1945 Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS MS-63 OGH (1st Gen) I have another idea or two, but I will stay with the above.
Nobody won the competition, so Mitch's two Presidential Dollars and my $100 GC giftcard will be recycled into another competition in the near future on this forum.
With Mitch's approval, I can announce that he bought item 6885 for $2,312 plus our 10% buyer's fee (usually all buyer/seller information is confidential at GreatCollections).
I think this is a great idea, and the site looks good to me. I stopped messing with ebay 2 1/2 years ago when they took a hostile attitude towards sellers. Very Interesting!
Q: Are You Printing Money? Bernanke: Not Literally
I wanted to buy something very different from my typical purchases in Ian's very first auction to mark the occasion. Hence, what probably made the contest so challenging! My prize will roll over to whatever the next contest Ian choses to run in connection with his site.
