eBay positive feedback but 1 or 2 rating?

All the recent feedbacks are positive with good comment. No complains received about my service.

But today I checked (I check every couple days), I found 1 person gave me low ratings (1 or 2) in all categories.

My questions are:

1. Is it possible to find out who give me such ratings?

2. I believe it is a newbie mistake made by the buyer when he left me a positive feedback. Are there any ways to correct such inaccurate feedback ratings?

Thx!

    1. don't think you can narrow it down.
    2. While feedback itself can be revised if a buyer wishes to honor your feedback revision request sent via ebay's "feedback revision form," I don't believe they can change the star rating. You might give it a try with the last couple of buyers or give ebay a call to find out if stars can be revised.

I am calling ebay now, but I am not too optimistic about it.

Any idea what he would have to gain by giving out low ratings? Sounds like a good way to get yourself blocked by a seller.

You are pretty much SOL. I called eBay about this once and their comment was "Well the DSR is just the person's opinion". Even though in the feedback the buyer said fast shipping and we did free shipping, they dinged us accross the board". eBay stood by their "it's just the way the person felt they were treated" even though they said something completely different in the feedback.

Prhaps it was a mistake and they thought 1 was good and 5 was bad. Just guessing here.

He had two Ebay I.D.'s, would buy on one and sell on the other. If he bought from you he would leave positives with low DSR's. I'm thinking to Boost his listings closer to the top???????

I had no idea until the other thread came up and it just so happened I sold something to him around the same time. Blocked of course.

Actually, quite easy. It's simple math and requires that you run two almost identical reports. That said, eBay will get mad at you if you question a buyer over the feedback they left.
