IT'S OPENING DAY! (belated)

piecesofmepiecesofme Posts: 6,669 ✭✭✭
I hope this isn't too OT. I know yesterday was technically Opening day for Baseball, but I'm a WHITE SOX fan and today is my opening day.
Looking thru my 1 oz silver pieces, I realized that I don't have 1 single piece that is Baseball related. image
Can you help a brutha out and post your Baseball related silver pieces? tia. If this is too OT, I'll ask for it to be deleted.

When gold and silver move together, it signals the coming end of fiat money.

Don't have any baseball specific coins but I do have a good wholesome American coin for a good wholesome American sport. In fact, I can imagine Doubleday had on of these in his pocket when he invented the sport (this last point is disputed).

edited to add: I hope you don't mind me posting a coin in the PM section. Seems I've failed on both criteria. It is neither baseball reltated, nor is it necessarily part of the PM. But I love baseball.

Nice so far but few too many. Please post your baseball related silver pieces so I can get more in the mood for baseball. This Winter just wont go away here in IN. Maybe some beautiful baseball silver pieces will inspire me to go to a game here soon in this 30-40 degree weather that just wont go away and warm up already!!!

We better keep it to silver pieces Jim...I'm already pushing the OT limit probably lol. I've got some '05 CWS WS stuff, no silver though. Being a Steelers and White Sox fan, 2005 was the best sports year of my life!

  • Cool , i'm looking forward to the season , Phils won the series in my 1st year here so whadda ya do..not like i could go see the SF giants who were always my favorites when i lived in Scotland , then they won it last year so i got two WS champs hats now , i sent the SF one home to Scotland though , i don't think the locals would have appreciated it : )

    Edit for pic

It's as close as ive got , it's a little fuzzy and if you squint your eyes it kinda looks like baseball bats : )
