Is 9.25X a goof price for 40% 1/2 Dollars?

I am looking to buy $200 face vaule of 40% halfs. No for sure if it a good price or not.

If you can buy them at $4.50-$5 it would seem like a good price but why buy 40%??

I would buy them for 9.25 per dollar.
I know absolutely nothing about silver refining, but it seems at this kind of discounts it would be profitable to send the 40% to a refiner.
Is this happening? And if so is it happening on a large scale?

And that is why 40% trades so far back of spot.
i wouldn't advise someone to get into them now.
B/M's don't like them for good reasons.

I can't base it on fact or statistics ........, but I think a very small percentage of silver bullion coins actually get sent to the smelters
