I used to have all of the original Beatles and Rolling Stones albums, first cut vinyl. Collected for me even before I was born by my father (RIP) and kept in pristine condition. Unfortunately we lived down in the valley back in the '90s and had a flood that ruined all of them. Tore my heart out that day.
I hope you have better luck with yours!

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, added to prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill, and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own, for the children and the children yet unborn, and the pity of it is, that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
I have several Beatles LPs..nothing all that rare though. The folks at the Audiokarma forums (www.audiokarma.org) may know the answer to your question. Also, www.popsike.com will display a long history of auction results. Pretty useful.

I have one of the early albums on the VeeJay label. Last I checked years ago they were $5K in mint condition. It is called "Introducing the Beatles", but not sure which version.
