What year is this cent?

Unlike my 1962 this lamination issued coin had the metal break off but still kept with the coin. BUT the question becomes what is the year of the coin so i can date it on the card. Im thinking 1916D but someone else ive talked to thinks 1910 ( so maybe a 1910S) but cant make a definite conclusion. Any ideas?

i think its a 1916 D the 0 in 1910 is very large

Is the lamination fragment loose? Is the date imprinted in the piece in reverse?

I'm thinking I see a 'D' in the lamination.

The fragment is loose. The date isnt printed on it that i can read . The mint mark kinda looks like a D or a small S. Doesnt give too much info but makes me want to say D but its really unclear.

With all the wear, I'm surprised the broken lamination still remains... if I were a young child, that piece would have been freed!
