Depends on the condition of the coins... if they're MS67 or higher, they're worth more than melt. If they're MS65 or higher with very eye appealing toning, they're worth more than melt. If the Roosies torch has full lines, they're probably worth more than melt. If the Jeffersons have full steps, they're definitely worth more than melt.

I'll pay ten cents over melt. In other news: silver is over $38 per ounce today. It wasn't long ago a silver quarter bought a gallon of gas. There were gas wars in them days...The year was 1967 if I recall correctly. Today, that silver quarter will buy 2 gallons, plus you'll get change . Change you can count on ....CLAD
yes, they typicaly do sell for a little over melt. List them on the BST with images. The halves are the big interest coins if there attractive as far as color.
I have a few of those kind of sets also. I was looking at them the other day and was impressed with the toning. I'm thinking of doing something with them also.

Agreed.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.

Keep the toner nickels and cents - or put them on BST.
Spend the other cents and nickels.

Is that a covert slam?
I'm thinking of doing something with them also.
John
Is that a covert slam?
Just calling them like he sees them.
