Larry, when they look like that there's really no need for a grade to be posted.

That is a very attractive Jefferson. I have always found the 1943-P to be one of the more difficult war nickels to locate with extremely attractive rainbow toning. My guess is that some minor marks and the light spotting on the upper reverse field will limit the grade to MS66. Is the coin full steps? It appears to be, but the photo is too small for me to say definitively.

Confession: Jeffies usually bore me a tiny bit.

I clicked this thread anyway, just to have a peek.

Glad I did- there ain't a dang thing boring about that one! image

I am partial to a Jeffie with nice colors.

This happens to be one of those. Very nice pickup.

    Super nice pick-up!

This is one that really doesn't need a grade, however, I would guess MS66FS!

Nice colors which is about the only thing good going for it.

1943-P in MS66 FS are fairly common but yours is actually desirable.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I have a 1943-D with that type of toning. How they get that way, I don't know. Nice color.
