In the 98 year history of the Federal Reserve, the Fed never releases the names of banks that have to borrow emergency money to prevent a run on the bank, because such information could CAUSE a run on the bank. Bloomberg News sued to get the information, and the Supreme Court ruled that the Fed must release it.
