Heritage Newp Quarter Eagle! Guess the grade! Grade Posted in 1st page.

I loved the look of this in Heritage's images so I took a chance. It is in an OGH, and from the images the scratches are on the slab.
Thoughts?
She is an MS62.

Edited to add: I agree about the color... odd transition behind her hair coils.

That said, I'll guess it's a 58/63 slider, I'll say you picked it up in a 58 slab.

It's not a slider as there's no rub on either the obverse or reverse.
Not sure how hard the reverse gashes crucified the grade but it does looks MS63-64 otherwise.
Yeah, I personally don't see a slider there at all.

I think that's an underused emoticon. But I reserve it only for special people.

I'm not sure how you can speak authoritatively from a photo...
FWIW, I graded it what I did because of apparent field rub on both obverse and reverse that appears to have impacted the luster in these areas. Of course I could be misinterpreting the photos.
That said, if you think the coin is a 63/64, I think you are going to be surprised when Ankur reveals the grade.

The Heritage images on this lil lady are really good compared to the LI that MOC's posted he won.
I've owned dozens of these in the past from XF45 to MS64 and have bought many from the comforts of my armchair.
I still see no rub and really doubt it's in a AU holder, but then due to the field issue MS61/62 wouldn't shock me either.
Reverse top of the wings should go out to the tips... But was having issues doing ovals as I don't paint much.

No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
Thanks for taking the time to annotate the picture with the high points of the design.
I hear what you're saying and I think I understand -- that a coin without any apparent high point rub is not going to grade AU. Philosophically, I agree.
However, I cannot speak authoritatively from a photo (much less a Heritage photo), and, with all due respect, neither can you.
While it does not appear to have any high point rub, let's remember we are looking at one photograph. The photograph has a blown red channel on the obverse photo (which masks details such as rub), and is lit in such a way that makes deciphering what we are seeing on the reverse very difficult, IMO.
However, what was even more confusing to me was apparent field rub without any discernible high point rub -- which suggests, to me at least, that there's some high point rub we are not seeing as I cannot fathom a way that a coin gets friction in the fields without any friction on the high points.
So when I see a coin with what appears to be obvious field rub (and certainly I could be wrong in this assessment), I automatically think 58/63 slider rather than a grade from 63 to 65.
Anyway, thanks for the discussion on the coin. I know these guess the grade threads aren't liked by a contingent of this forum, but personally I really enjoy them & appreciate the discussion. Take care....Mike
