Do you also have greenophobia?

I was at a coin show last month and found a very alluring coin. Under the 10x glass, I saw the smallest spot of green and immediately recoiled. Without magnification, it was not visible. I showed it to the dealer (who is considered one of the "good guys"), and he thought that it was nothing to worry about. I put the coin away and did not further consider it.
Today, I was looking at images on CoinFacts and ran across an extremely attractive photo of a Dahlonega QE. As I was admiring the ginormous image, I saw two minute spots of green, one under the letter "L" in Liberty on the obverse and the other on the upper part of the left (facing) wing on the reverse. I immediately became nauseated.
Am I taking this greenophobia a bit too far?

If you have to talk yourself into buying a coin, you should recognize what your initial reaction is and pass. It is unlikely that your view will change, and the coin would
just be an irritant.
I don't care for those green spots either, or the obverse rim damage.

had some type of green. I dunno why, I just don't like it. I like original coins, and sometimes it's a
challenge to find ungreen coins.
Sometimes I do buy coins with green spots though. It depends on what type of spot it is. Some, have a
rough and rocky texture which I will stay away from.

If the coin is raw and I intend to keep it that way, I might try to remove it properly. If the coin is slabbed, valuable and MS I send it back to the TPG to conserve.
