Posting for forum member Shasta7 -- Please look at this Double Die.

Here are two images of a 1941-D Mercury Dime Obverse.
Please tell us what you see as far as the doubling goes.
I have my opinion, but I'm keeping it to myself for now.

...hey tony, sooner or later Shasta7 is gonna show.
Is that coin on ebay or was it on ebay?
Ken
Now, for my opinion.
The coin is machine doubling. You can tell by the flat shelf and the lack of split serifs.

First off I want to Thank fcloud for posting the pictures for me here... for some reason I wasn't able to upload them.
So I do appreciate the help!!
The coin was NOT on ebay... I too agree with everyone that the coin is MDD/shelve doubling. The only thing I had
questioned was the way the 1 in the date came up out from behind the other 1 (at the top)...
