Today's newp: "dirty" 1917 T1 SLQ

I say Fine+ and original. You?
I voted "results only", though, as I usually do in grading polls involving my own coins.
This one came from guitarwes. I sublet my antique mall booth to him nowadays (my cases, his coins), and I saw this in there. Priced very modestly, as is usually the case with him. I keep telling him he needs to take a cue from the flea market guys and jack his prices up a tad. After all, he's got a near-monopoly in probably a four-county radius, ever since I stepped down. I got weary of trying to keep the cases stocked and have stepped back down to tiny "vestpocket" dealer status.

<< <i>Is the color in the picture accurate? >>
Fairly accurate, yes. The pictures were done on a flatbed scanner and not with a camera. The scanner doesn't do so well with a lot of coins, but on circulated silver like this it is pretty accurate.

Huh. I wish. The nicest I've dug was a 1929 in VF. Never found a Type 1, though some nice ones have been found by my buddies. Like I said in the introductory text, I bought this downtown yesterday.
PS- show me the "environmental damage" on the coin in the OP. There's nothin' there but old circulation dirt/patina, as far as I can tell.
