Connecticut help

Pulled this out of a junk lot in my tour of the local shops today. Is this the rare disinagrating planchet variety?
and is it worth the $30 I forked out... sometimes I buy stuff on impulse

thanks
Ken

It is a 1785 CT Copper. The planchet void looks fairly interesting, though planchet issues are extremely common in the 1785 Connecticut die varieties. It does not look like one of the rarer die varieties to my eye, but I will say because of the planchet void some of the attribution points are no longer present. Also, Im not great at attributing these things as they are so darn close to one another.
With that said, it is certainly worth the $30 you paid for it, just for the irregular planchet alone.
