Identification of 1946 S Roosevelt FS-502 RPM

I believe I have one of these due to the mintmark.

However...the mintmark is the only match I can make. There is no other doubling on the coin as identified by other pictures I've found, primarily in the word STATES.

Is this due to perhaps a late die state washing out the doubling? Can any Roosevelt variety collectors comment on this?

That's definitely the S/S. The doubling on the reverse must be erroded. Can't you see any of it in hand??

I can't see anything in hand. The coin was bought raw & unattributted for my toned twentieth century silver collection for just a few dollars. That's why the top of STATES looks dark. I even put this one under the scope at 90X; still no doubling to be seen.

I was just looking at a group of toned dimes on a whim, and this one came up. Thanks for your help.

    Here we go:

One of my luckier hits on grades. Despite a real small rub/ding, it does have full bands in hand - not the strongest bands, but I would definitely consider them so. I can now actually see the doubling on UNITED STATES with the large version picture.
