    I have another toned 1952-D I just got on consignment...PCGS MS66FB but I think the one that Jack won from me that you passed on was nicer...lol

    PP, thank you for three months of entertainment. Not one serious candidate has come though so I'm thinking Jon (PCcoins) is right, you need to go to $500.

    But going there all at once would take the fun out of it so you should add a dollar per day until you get it.

    And because of the entertainment this thread has provided I'll chip in the first $10, to get you to $185. Anyone else?

    Did you see that NGC Mint set penny Great Toning sold ? @ 300$ or there abouts ?

    .....and that Kryptonite feller has a couple up on eBay that should bring big bucks too !

    if I could just get a cottin' pickin' 52-D dime to complete my Roosie set I would just be so freakin' happy image

    I just saw a '55-D dime , very nicely toned PCGS MS66 sell on eBay for 170$ !! ...and the PCGS Price guide has it @ $22 or so .........

    I did see that 57D. It came from a member of this board (not me) and I passed at his asking price of around $200. Mainly because it would be a 65BN in PCGS and MAINLY because I like the one you scored for me!! my brother.

    Is it possible there are no monster obverse 52-D's in existence. Anyone checked the registries?

    and yes there ARE colorful 1952-D dimes , in PCGS holders :

    I MADE AT LEAST TWO !!

    .......but I sold them a few years back image


    If I could fin one , I would have the whole stinking set in PCGS MS 66 . 1946 thru 1964 .....all in rainbowish PCGS MS 66 !

    all I need is that one pitiful date .........

    I have a 2 MS67 Stars but I cannot guarantee that they would cross over at PCGS MS66 Just checked the population report and there are only 3 stars for that date period. Which mean I have 2/3 lol Didnt even realize that it was that tough of a date.

    ......comb the coin shows to find a nice raw one for 20$ and then pay to get it holder-ed

    , just like I used to do when I was a younger fellow !
