I watched Fine Coins with the Treaure Hunter last night and Rick Tomaska was on it. All I can say is WOW!! Can't believe those prices! image

    Talented marketers certainly reap treasure in the coin world.
    I'm not sure the same can be said for their customers.image

    I thought that Rick did a good job of educating us all on the rarity of superb Franklin half dollars.The prices are pretty high though.Its been my experience that buying directly from R&I is preferable, price wise.

    I enjoyed the show better than any other TV coin show.
    First time I've seen it and kind of educational. He did a good job.
    Actually learned some things about a sector I'm not familiar with. Cameos, accented hair, etc...
    Had some cool GSA's too.

    Oh, for a minute I thought we were discussing a real treasure hunting show, as in, diggin' stuff outta the ground. I was unaware that there is a sales show by that name. I guess treasure comes in all forms, though.

    Eh, so the coins may be pricey. So what. Doesn't mean you've gotta buy 'em. But yeah, I know what you mean- I've had sticker shock a time or two when looking over some of that modern or semi-modern DCAM eye candy.

    I'd have loved to have seen it. I enjoy looking at gems and would have enjoyed the show.

    I have DISH and I got it. I think it was called Coin and art T.V. with Barry Chappel or some thing image
