Coca Cola bottle full of pennies...untouched since 2002, hmn...

I couldn't pass this deal up, being a coke bottle collector and avid roll searcher, a guy I bought some silver off of said he had a coca cola bottle bank nearly full of pennies that he hadn't touched in around 10years...so we made a deal! Weight was around 75lbs, I've now looked through about 30lbs of it and found only a very few 2002 and 2001 pennies. Most of the coins are before 2000! So I'm on the hunt for the wide AM's and maybe some close 92's-that would be real nice. Most of the 98,99 and 2000 coins are real nice, but so far no wide AM's. But I did find the nice cherry gem 1988 cent below, notice anything special about it?

I recently posted a thread about finding multiple coffee cans full of coins in my parents house. I looked through one can and found no coins in it later than 1982. It contained cents, nickels, dimes and quarters from the 1930's to 1982, with many of the coins from the 1970's and early 1980's being MS and quite attractive. The coins in that can had been sitting there in the can for 30+ years.
  • I'm looking through $375.00 in pennies and just found me one . I was quite surprised...Good luck, I believe they are far and in between.

I can't remember, designers initials are closer to the memorial or further away than normal?

Will pennies fit into a coke bottle? Just checking the thread title.

Coke bottle bank. I don't think 75 pounds of pennies will fit in a standard coke bottle image
