Just noticed this 1811/10 bust half I once owned now on Heritage.............Misattribted?

Noticed my old 1811/10 CBH I sold last year on Heritage, however they have it listed as being O-102 R4 when it is clearly a O-101 R1.

Am I missing something here or did Heritage missatribute this CBH?.................................Heritage Link

I didn't double check your attribution as I'm sure you are spot on, but this raises a question in my mind. When I see a bust coin I like that is already attributed by someone else, I always double check their work to make sure it is correct. I wonder how many people just take a given attribution and run with it, without doing their own homework. Scary thought

I happen to agree with you. It would be a shame for someone to win this coin from Heritage only to find out later that it is only a R1 and not the rare O-102 R4 that Heritage is claiming to have.

I have informed Heritage on more than one occasion of attribution errors, and they have always
graciously (and quickly) corrected them.

Accuracy is very important to us. If a description needs to be corrected, all you need to do is call or e-mail us.
