Did anyone win any of these coins...2d-family

He parted out a type set and some of the coins look pretty nice. Did anyone win any of the auctions, and even if you didn't what are your thoughts on them from the pictures provided?

Most of the older coins were lightly cleaned (as you were supposed to do 30+ years ago) but have retoned from being in an album for a couple of decades.

Looks like a decent collection. Some pretty strong prices for raw coins.

It's probably a good thing I didn't see that no stars half dime.

I took a shot at the toned '91 dime, but came to my senses about the nature of the toning and let it ride. I did enjoy the humor of the seller's reference to the "Seated Lady" type coins though.

I think the 1855 half dime went for a song. I'd almost bet it makes PCGS MS64. Another interesting piece was the 1847 large cent that went for almost $800, despite the light cleaning evident in the photo. Must have been a condition census example of a rare variety at that price.

I'd almost bet I win next time I have pocket aces playing poker.

I could give odds on the 1855 half dime, if you'd like (some gambling involved, in other words).

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the half dime has minimal hairlining in the fields.
