Question on slabs

Well I am somewhat new to the slabbed coin world and I understand that coins in NGC black slabs are worth a “little” more.

My question is, are there other slab types that can add a premium to coins other then the possibility of an upgrade (PCGS or NGC).

Thank you for the help.

Regency slabs, for one. PCGS Doily holders.

Black NGC slabs are generally worth a little more than a little premium, btw.

In some cases the holder adds the premium. For NGC it is the black holder. For PCGS the Regency and the doily.

The old little white ANACS holders have some awesome errors in them as use to be the go to company for errors.

In addition to the slabs mentioned above, the slabs labeled NGC 2.0 and 2.1 at this site will typically bring a small premium just for the slab (particularly the 2.1s). Less of a premium than the Doily and Regency slabs, but a premium nonetheless.
