Did you notice they used a Hong Kong coin for the China spot?

Finding a coin from China isn't difficult these days but up to the early 90's when people referenced China they usually meant Hong Kong or Taiwan.

  • Also, the description says that its copper on zinc. Kinda wierd that they would use that particular coin. It must have gotten mixed up in a roll of moderns.

found this one on ebay with the same coin...link

I just recently bought the current version of that set at EPCOT this holiday season. The countries listed are now different, and the majority of the European coins are based on the Euro. I did look through a number of sets, and found one with a particularly nice 1981 cent, also noting that the description of the metal used was copper on zinc. I just love discrepancies image
