Having fun with VAM identification on a 1921-S Morgan . . . . lots of pics!

First of all, I'd like to say I'm very impressed with the people who have created and maintain the www.vamworld.com website. This is a fantastic resource with great information and pictures.
I purchased this 1921-S Morgan because of the toning on the obverse, which is somewhat rare for this date. And I decided to research the VAM when I noticed a slight die crack running through the left stars into the Motto. Let me say I was certainly surprised at all the info available on the site, including ALL THE VAMs for every single date and mintmark!
Here's the coin:

I think I have a VAM-5 (doubled date & stars, doubled lower reverse) and possibly a VAM-5A (shallow denticles?)

I'm not sure exactly what 'shallow denticles' are. But the left fields do have some die polishing lines and the denticles near the die crack do seem smaller compared to the right side of the coin.

Any of you vammers care to weigh in?

VAMworld is a fantastic resource that just keeps getting better as new discoveries are made and members' photo skills improve. It's pretty much rendered the huge 4-pound VAM reference book obsolete IMO.
