What do you all think happened to this Peace Dollar

I gave this coin a short acetone bath after many years in a PVC holder.
Could the PVC have caused all of the pitting on her face?

PVC can eat away much more than her face if left untreated. I don't see what you are referring
to but I do see a circulated coin.

I was referencing the spider like marks on her face. It ia also noticably brighter than the other parts of the coin.
