Several years ago I auctioned a coin which looked like this one. It had been in a house fire and caused the colors. We auctioned everything salvagable from the house for an 80+ year old lady and she was very happy with what the coins brought. The toned half cent brought over $400. and everybody knew where the coins, etc came from. It could be the same coin I auctioned.
