Is This PCGS Holder Real??

The font and no bar code looks off. It just does not look like other holders............Or am I mistaken???

Edited to add: the barcode I see now is on the back, but it still looks odd in general. Let alone the photo has no color.

I focus on the coins and not the holders, because I know the former better than the latter. The coin appears to be genuine, and if so, my guess is that the holder is, as well.

Yes, the coin does appear quite nice and maybe it is the funky colorless photo that is throwing me off? The cert number checks out too.

a number of coin purchases on the first page of "as buyer", even a couple from MCM!

I'm not familiar with that generation slab's look.

Just look how clean the cheek is on that morgan! Heck the entire bust looks mark free!!! That one should go for a really nice chunk of change.

I would want to see the holder closer, and for that matter the coin. The holder seems to be missing the four round studs that PCGS holders should have at the corners of the coin.

This is the first version of the blue insert holder that PCGS used. It was in use from approximately October, 1998 through February, 2002.

It appears he has taken all the saturation out of the photo's to enhance the black & white of the coin.
Under normal light, that insert should look blue.
